Physical Description:
Anna is on the tall side of average, with dark hair and brown eyes. She's a little on the chubby side (for a vampire), which means she almost looks like she has a fondness for sweets. On alternate Tuesdays. Every leap year. She's not entirely unpretty, and tends to keep her hair up so as to not be inhaling it whenever the wind blows.

Brief Description of Personality:
Anna is quiet but personable, with a ready (close-lipped) smile. She prefers watching to interacting, but in this day and age that usually gets you labelled as a stalker and shady and ends up with you getting shot at because 'we don't want your sort around here'. She's learned to run very quickly, and to expect attacks from behind. She's fiercely independent more out of necessity than natural inclination, though as that habit becomes more ingrained, the chances of her settling down get smaller and smaller. Her new capability for violence and self-defense is occasionally distressing, as is the drinking blood, mostly because she used to be a vegetarian.

Personal Possessions:
It would be fun to say books books and more books, but she left most of her stuff behind her in Boston, and each time she's been run out of town she leaves a little more behind. She has, however, gotten reasonably good at scrounging. At the moment she's got her wallet and ID, a small bag of clothes, the last remnants of a first-aid kit, a shotgun, a handgun, and two knives. A girl needs a gun these days, doesn't she? And a couple surprises never hurt anyone.

History:
Anna grew up in Boston, where she remained until huge chunks of her neighborhood were destroyed in riots and uprisings as the fallout from the sudden zombification/lycanthropization/vampirifying of the majority of the city really hit. Her parents and the kids next door were the first zombies she ran into. This means she really doesn't like them. Eurgh. Anyway, she left Boston and the harbor soon after, heading inland, sticking to smaller out of the way places because she was more comfortable with the quiet. The quiet, however, was not a really good place to get food or shelter, and so she headed into Philadelphia. Big mistake (to one way of thinking) because that's where she got vamped. Ditching that scene maybe three months into it (someone had read WAY too much Bram Stoker) she headed west, just because she'd never been out that way before, and eventually ended up in Chicago, where she's set up camp for the moment.

ETA: Anna was pursuing an MFA when the whole bioterror thing went down. She is also a poet who did some bookkeeping on the side. Her parents worked in shipping, Dad in the boatyards, Mom in the office. With the books. Yes.
